Women Deliver Mourns the Loss of Former Guttmacher Institute Leader Jeannie Rosoff

Women Deliver received with sadness the news from Guttmacher Institute on the passing of Jeannie I. Rosoff, one of the organization’s founders and its second President and CEO. She served as President from 1978 to 1999. Rosoff was a critical advocate for girls and women throughout her lifetime and career, and her efforts led to the creation of the Title X Family Planning Program, the only federally-funded grant program in the United States dedicated to providing comprehensive family planning and related health services.
