Early this month, over 120 ambassadors, ministers, parliamentarians, advocates, youth and media gathered today at the International Peace Institute (IPI) for a high-level policy forum, Prevention and Protection Save Lives: Girls, Women and HIV, co-hosted by Women Deliver, IPI, the Permanent Mission of Norway to the United Nations and Family Care International. this is an interesting forum. I am peer education trainer (PET) at a local level. Want to do more
It feels like more ideas are exchanged but nothing really concrete has come out. Sure there were some great ideas in there, but I think more needs to be done to protect women’s rights and the safety of women and children. This is more important in developing countries where mistreatment of the above is considered common.
