World Contraception Day Tweetchat

This year on World Contraception Day, we raised our voices for the 222 million women worldwide with an unmet need for contraceptives. World Contraception Day is held each year to advocate for a world where every pregnancy is wanted, and to empower young people to make informed decisions on sexual and reproductive health.

Women Deliver hosted a twitter chat with IPPF/WHR, Pathfinder International, the International Partnership for Microbicides, Population Council, Population Institute, UN Foundation/Universal Access Project, USAID|DELIVER Project/JSI, Management Sciences for Health, the International Conference on Family Planning, Marie Stopes International, PPFA Global, Population Services International, FP2020, MCHIP/Jhpiego and SHOPS Project/Abt Associates to share ideas, spark discussion, and engage leaders about how we can make sure that girls and women, everywhere, have access to the family planning information and services they want and need.
