Join Countdown to 2015 at Women Deliver for the latest evidence, country by country, on the progress, obstacles and solutions to achieving the Millennium Development Goals for the health of women, newborns and children. Countdown is a global effort to monitor progress toward MDGs 4 and 5; it collects and analyzes data from 68 countries that account for 97% of maternal and child deaths, preparing Country Profiles that present coverage data for a range of key health services (contraceptive use, antenatal care, skilled attendance at delivery, postnatal care, as well as child health), financial investments in MNCH, equity, and health systems and policy. In 2010, Countdown and Women Deliver will join forces to achieve maximum impact. Countdown will issue a report and hold its conference during Women Deliver 2010 to share the latest findings, including policy and program recommendation on what needs to be done to accelerate progress toward the reduction of maternal, newborn and child mortality.
