Women Deliver’s conferences are the world’s largest global convenings to focus on the health and rights of girls and women. Beginning in 2007 – with a groundbreaking meeting that put maternal health on the global policy agenda – Women Deliver convenes global conferences every three years. The next global conference will be held in May 2016.
The conferences bring together thousands of policymakers, donors, activists, young people, providers, and journalists from the highest levels to the grassroots to review progress, discuss challenges, and push for new and ambitious commitments toward improving the lives of girls and women.
Women Deliver conferences connect advocates and champions from around the world and across the political spectrum to meet, collaborate, and hit the ground running towards accelerated progress.
New initiatives have been born, diverse advocates have been connected, pioneering partnerships have been forged, and young leaders have emerged out of these global meetings.
